Established in 1998, the Skating Club of Novi is an independent, non profit organization that has been a member of the United States Figure Association since 1999. Since then, the club has grown to over 100 members. The club is dedicated to the promotion of figure skating and supports many activities at the Novi Ice Arena to support this goal.

The Skating Club hosts many special events throughout the year, including:

• May: Annual Ice Show which showcases the talents of Learn to Skate students as well as Club members

• June: Annual Membership Banquet and Awards ceremony

• August: Summer Chill Basic Skills Competition. a competition that is part of the Michigan Basic Skills series

• December: Annual Holiday Exhibition

The Skating Club of Novi holds several USFSA Testing sessions during the year where skaters execute USFS tests in Free Skate, Moves in the Field, and Dance.

The Skating Club is located at the Novi Ice Arena, where are skaters train alongside many Olympic and International skaters.
